PRE-OPERATION PROCEDURES -PLASTIC SURGERY :

We have at your disposition a medical team of physiotherapists and aestheticians under the direction of Claudia Ariza, who is in charge of making sure that all the protocols for each of the medical procedures are followed. For this reason we orient the use of our medical equipment to obtain the best results (ultrasound, regenerative therapy, cryotherapy, laser, chromatography, and presotherapy, infrared).

The Pre-operation procedures for facial surgery are directed to prepare the skin for the medical procedure, including deep cleansing, peeling and microdermabrasion.

The Pre-operation procedures for corporal surgery including liposuction, are composed of ten sessions of therapies that seek the places where the fat tissue is softer making the suctioning action less traumatic and with less bleeding.

The previous day of the surgery a therapy relaxation session is given with the purpose of calming the patient as much of possible in anticipation of the surgery.

POST-OPERATION PROCEDURES -PLASTIC SURGERY:

The Post-operation procedures are generally directed to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, reduce bruises, and avoid fibrosis from liposuction. Dr. Ovidio Alarcon prefers to start the therapies early, the second or third day after the operation. In this way, the patient will be able to return sooner to his normal activities. The treatment consists of ten sessions of therapies. However, we especially recommend to patients from liposuction and mammoplasty procedures to have another ten sessions. In the mammoplasty surgery for breast augmentation these therapies are important to reduce the side effect of capsular contraction. Having direct contact on a daily basis with the patient enables us to give better follow-up and in this way resolve any inquires or problems immediately.
